Damn You John Mayer! I hate you for doing this to me. First I saw that you posted notes that said you added Phillipines on your world tour. My brain instantly search for a way to be there somehow. I even thought of going there for our honeymoon. But that's before I checked on the date. It's on 16th of May, 2010. Damn You John Mayer. That's my wedding day. The most anticipated day of my life. Now, all I can hope is you added Indonesia or Singapore or Malaysia or Thailand to be on the list and the date should be after my wedding day. And if somehow I can go there with my husband, that would be a dream come true.

I know it's impossible to have You singing 'Your Body is A Wonderland' live for our 'first night' but holding hand with my beloved husband while listening to Daughters gonna make me the happiest newlybride in the world :D

HardRock t-shirt baru niy... Kemaren nitip sama Pooh yang tugas ke Dublin. Harganya termasuk yang mahal 24 Euro aja yang kalo di rupiAhin pake kurs kemaren jatohnya Rp 350ribuan. Tapi sebagai collector it was worth it kok.

Btw. hari ini berhasil DL double Albumnya John Mayer yang WHERE THE LIGHT IS buat icip-icip dulu. Modelnya sih Live seperti ANY GIVEN THURSDAY dan banyakan lagu lama yang akustik but it brought back the old memory kenapa saya suka musik2xnya JM. Jujur aja semenjak dia agak-agak FAMEW*H*R* saya jadi agak ilfil sama dia. Mana pake pacaran sama cwe-cwe ga penting gitu. Now my love will lead me back to you dech he3x. Pastinya siy saya bakal beli DVD aslinya tapi kayaknya bakal mahal banget nich. Dana terbatas secara lagi banyak banget pengeluaran bulan-bulan ini. Belom mikirin bayar DP beli *ehem* ituh. Hey guys. As I think some of you know, I have been to over 50 shows now. Is that an accomplishment or is it an embarrassment? Prior to the show in Kenosha, I would always joke and say it was an embarrassment. However, after the show, I don’t know that it’s anything to boast about.

The drive itself to Kenosha wasn’t too bad (about 4 hours from Indianapolis). Keep in mind though that Kenosha is on central time and not Eastern Time meaning we lost an hour on the way back. After arriving at the venue at around 7PM, I head inside and find my seat. Not too bad. Could be better, but the capacity at Carthage College was only 4250. It could’ve been worse, but I wasn’t a big fan of the setup.

After I found my seats, I went to use the bathroom and I run into Mr. Scotty Crowe. We exchange hellos and he informs me that he has something to give me. I was a bit puzzled as to what it may be, but I told him where I was sitting and he told me that he’d find me shortly. Minutes later, Guster begins their set. I’ve seen them a few times this tour and their sets have been almost identical each time. I’m just not impressed anymore.

Once Guster finishes and the set change is taking place, I’m merely trying to kill time until Mayer comes on. With about 10 minutes before John takes the stage, Scotty approaches me with what appears to be a piece of paper. He informs me that John is aware that he hasn’t written a message to MSM in a long time (I’ve been asking him to write one since December) and that John wanted to make good on it.

Scotty acknowledges the content look I have, and says, Sorry man, but I figured you should have it anyway, before walking away. A bit confused, I begin to read the letter, and immediately understand what it is he meant by his final comment. Needless to say, I was bummed after reading the letter and clueless as to why I received it. I didn’t have the audacity to approach anyone in the Mayer camp later on.

I’ve spent the last few days thinking frequently about the situation and how I wanted to approach it with MSM. I had sort of convinced myself that I was just going to ball the letter up, forget I ever received it, and let MSM continue to be the way it is. After giving it lots of thought, I figured it was best to tell you all (since this community does revolve around this guy) or show you. I’ve always strived to keep the peace here and to do it in a manner that is well receipted within the community.

So, I guess a lot of the complaints that have come through here or other Mayer message boards do hold some validity to them. John is at the point now where he can hold his own and be himself without worrying too much. His popularity continues to increase and although he has a substantial amount of fans who visit message boards, there are also numerous fans who don’t become involved with the internet activity.

I guess it all just comes as a shock to me since John usually is very diplomatic. The recent comments he gave me a short while ago about the meet and greets leave me (as well as you) room to wonder. So here is the most recent message from John to myself, as well as the rest of you all.

Another pointless posting tapi ga sabar aja buat posting berita norak ini. Tadi pas jalan ke KGM ga sengaja lewat toko GAP yang belum opening jadi dindingnya masih ditutup sama poster-poster iklan. Dan saya langsung excited waktu liat ternyata John Mayer juga ada disitu. Tanpa ragu dan malu-malu saya cuex bebex aja minta tolong Aira buat motoin saya persis di depan poster besar itu. Duh, it's like a dream come true padahal cuma gambar doang. Need to go to KGM again and take another picture. And I post this picture everywhere hehehehehe

Lagu baru yang dinyanyiin John Mayer menggambarkan isi hati banget nih. Sayang saya ga punya link yang bagus untuk dengerin lagu ini kecuali di sini. So, kapan terakhir ngeblog dan mengungkapkan isi hati? Udah lama banget rasanya. Maklum sodara-sodara sekalian, baru selesai ujian nih. Kalo saya bilang baru selesai itu artinya baru 3 jam yang lalu saya selesai mengarang indah untuk dua mata kuliah yang strategik. Butuh refleksi tangan nih sepertinya he3x. Sekarang kepala yang tadi pecah dan terburai mulai menyatu lagi dan sudah mulai berpikir senang-senang.

Well, selain mikirin senang-senang, sekarang ini di otak saya sedang ada pikirin yang cukup rumit tentang project masa depan. Belom mau launching sekarang tapi semoga semua berjalan lancar dan tidak halangan. Bukan! Saya bukan merencanakan menikah atau apapun yang bisa diasosikan kesana. Ini ga ada hubungannya sama hal itu kok. Ini lebih kepada suatu cita-cita yang terwujud thanks to my bestfriend yang kebetulan punya cita-cita sama. Langkah awal sudah diambil. Beresiko memang, tapi dalam hidup ini apa sih yang ga beresiko? There's nothing i can't handle. Wish us luck!

Sebenernya banyak hal sih yang pingin saya sharring selama 'masa tenang' kemaren itu. Tapi kalo udah basi males juga ya ceritanya. Hmmmm... tentang liburan tahun baru ke bali aja deh. Rencananya tahun baru ini saya, Uz dan temennya Uz bakal pergi ke bali. Semua udah beres tinggal bawa diri aja walaupun sempet stress minggu-minggu kemaren karena hotel-hotel udah pada fully booked. Padahal saya dan Uz udah coba ke banyak travel bahkan saya telp sendiri ke bali. Akhirnya berhasil lewat internet. Sempet ada trouble sedikit tapi orang orang indo.com lumayan cekatan dan langsung membereskan masalah saya. Now i can relax and starting to arrange my itinerary for fun new year. Tapi bo, masih lama bukan ya? huehehehehehe

Oh iya, satu lagi. Ada berita gembira. A friend is now back in my arms again. Welcome to my life Memeth. I missed you eventhough you were (and still is) a pain in the ass.

Halo again. It’s been so long. Kenapa sekarang nulis lagi? Kata orang kalo sedang emosi inspirasi lebih cepat datang. Kayak saya penulis buku atau pencipta lagu terkenal aja ya? Anyway tadi saya sudah mengetik sekitar 100 kata yang isinya kebanyakan berupa makian dan tumpahan rasa kesal. Tapi saya delete. Ngga pentinglah. Buang-buang energi aja. Seharusnya i know by now kalo ga semua orang mau berusaha sekuat tenaga buat mengerjakan sesuatu.

Other than that, apalagi yang bisa diceritakan? Well, on the last weekend (19/05/2007) me and my siblings went to a trip to Tangkuban Perahu and Bandung. Tadinya berencana buat ke ciwidey lagi karena my sista mau hunting photo dengan kamera barunya Canon EOS D30 dan seransel lensa-lensa canggih pinjeman tetapi karena jauh dan ada tempat lain yang lebih dekat dan belum pernah kami datangi yaitu Tangkuban Perahu maka kami memutuskan untuk ganti tujuan. Kami berangkat kamis jam 6.30 pagi dengan tetap melewati tol Cipularang tetapi keluar di pintu Sadang untuk kemudian melanjutkan lewat jalan biasa melalui jalur Subang arah Bandung yang diluar perkiraan saya sangat bagus dan halus. Kabarnya SBY beberapa waktu yang lalu sempet mampir ke daerah itu untuk suatu acara sehingga jalananannya nyaris tanpa cacat dan lobang. Singkat kata kami berhasil tiba dalam waktu 2,5 jam dan berhasil mendapat photo-photo bagus tetapi karena berangkat dengan perut kosong dan telat makan akhirnya saya ketularan my brada yang sudah bawa virus dari jakarta. So, sepulang dari Tangkuban Perahu kami mengarah ke bandung untuk makan dan jalan-jalan. Ngga lama karena saya sudah tepar berat dan langsung beristirahat di hotel saja. Tidak ada acara naik ke atas seperti yang biasanya kami lakukan karena toh kami sudah berkali kali kesana dan mulai bosan. Keesokan harinya baru kami sedikit shopping (ajaibnya saya berhasil menahan diri untuk tidak belanja sama sekali di Rumah Mode). Setelah makan siang di warung ma une akhirnya kami mengarah pulang. Kasihan bapak dan ibu ditinggal sendirian tanpa pembantu.

Setelah beristirahat sepulang dari bandung, hari sabtu saya mengundang gank laba-laba and gank cosmo lainnya untuk makan malam ultah saya. Venue-nya DOME karena disana masih ada promosi Manhattan 50% off... hihihihihihi. Senang semua bisa hadir lengkap. Agak langka nih. Tapi dari pengalaman sih biasanya acara bakal kejadian on short notice. Kali ini ada uncle G dan VanVan. Udah feeling kalo ”something happenend” makanya saya ajak juga si VanVan untuk gabung sama kita. Acaranya menyenangkan tapi sayangnya karena ternyata saya belum terlalu fit hari minggu saya tepar lagi.

Terus ada apalagi ya? Hmmmm... ada berita yang sebenernya udah bisa diduga tapi karena yang punya berita artis ibukota jadi perlu disembunyiin dulu he3x. Semoga bahagia dan awet selalu.

Oh ya, ada berita menyebalkan hari ini. Katanya Eyang rambut putih bakal diganti sama Pak Ijo Lumut. Aduh..... Biarpun Eyang kadangkala suka nyaris tanpa emosi tapi sebagai kepala gerombolan detektif amatir dia emang paling tobs. Karena selama hampir 6 tahun bergabung disana dia yang paling berwawasan dan berkompentensi. Sedih.

Satu lagi, saat ini lagi heboh masalah kekerasan di sekolah PL. Jujur saja sebenarnya kekerasan seperti itu saya rasa ada di semua sekolah. Yang lebih senior merasa dia berhak menjajah adik kelasnya. Puji Tuhan di sekolah saya yang adalah sekolah Homogen seperti PL saya tidak pernah merasakan yang namanya di”gencet”, dikerjain atau apalah namanya itu. Mungkin juga karena sekolah kami adalah sekolah perempuan. Tapi dari berbagai berita kadangkala perempuan bisa lebih kejam dari laki-laki loh... iiiih!!

Terakhir, minggu-minggu lalu ada kabar JM putus dari JS. Udah mau tumpengan tapi ntar dulu deh. Kayaknya nyambung lagi. Please de' JM. Kayak ga bisa cari cwe lain aja. Kan ada akyu................. huuuuuuuuuu

Some Changes Around here...

Hey guys. So, you're probably wondering what's going on and I think you deserve an explanation. MSM has been around now for about 6 years and it's really evolved in that time. Mostly for the better, but as of late, not so much. There have been way too many threads/posts about Ms. Simpson and gossip surrounding her and John's personal life and it's really taken a toll not only on the community, but me as well. I have to scrutinize each thread and post now and it's become rather taxing.

I've come to the realization that the community is not what it once was. It only makes sense to me to make this place a Jessica Simpson board instead. It's unfortunate it has come to this, but I think it will serve the current community of gossipers best. Now you can gossip all you want. I'm sure many of you are creative and can make new Mayer communities that will hopefully replace MSM. More info to come shortly. Thank you to John and MSM for the last 6 years. It's been a great ride.

Alright, so April Fools. I had to leave the board that way for more than a day for it to be believable. As predicted, the more time that passed, the more people that bought into it. It was starting to get pretty funny actually towards the end. Thanks to those who played along. A big thumbs down to those who tried to be the hero and call out that it was April Fools. It doesn't accomplish anything and just kind of ruins the joke for those who otherwise would have no idea. Lastly, I did not consult JM before April 1, but John told me that he liked and enjoyed the joke. So, for those who were throwing a fit about credibility and otherwise, he was fine with it..Alright, back to normalcy...

Continuum - The Review

12.09.06 Continuum was finally released. Today (1 day after the release date) I bought the CD in KGM after Dinner in A-Hwa. I was about to get upset when Disc Tara said that the CD hasn’t arrive yet. I try to find it in a small and not so famous music store and there’s plenty of CONTINUUM lying around in the display.

Now here’s my review (a not so objective review from a fans). BLUES definitely influence this album a lot as I said before in here. Luckily it’s not a hard core BLUES otherwise I’d skip his album again just like TRY! The first single “Waiting on The World to Change” is quite catchy and easy to listen. A little bit political message in the lyrics but I find it as a fun way of saying things along with another song “Belief”. Forget about his previous album especially ROOM FOR SQUARE (RFS). You won’t find candy song like “Your Body is A Wonderland” in CONTINUUM but overall there are plenty of slow and comfy song like “Gravity” and “Stop This Train” that kinda reminds me of “3x5” in RFS.

One of the song that got into people’s talk is Jimi Hendrix’s “Bold as Love” that surprisingly I find it good to listen to. I thought a Jimi Hendrix’s song must be very loud and confusing to my ears but as JM said in an interview in Vh1 he just want to introduce Jimi Hendrix to the younger generation… and it works! (at least for me if you considered me as the younger generation huehehehehe). And guess what, it becomes one of my favorite songs from the album. I don't know the original song sounds and i don't care. JM's version will definitely sounds better to me.

I did read few official reviews in JM’s fans forum. Some good some bad but the common review they made is that JM’s music is grow. Whatever that means. The fact is the fans are growing with him too. What I’m saying is CONTINUUM might not be the answer to a Justin Timberlake’s die hard fans (and he happened to released his new album on the same day as JM – head to head competition eh? We know who’s gonna win though) but to the original fans of John Mayer you might raised your eyebrow a little but still be able to enjoy the whole album.

So, buy the album. You won’t regret it.

Hore Hore Hore. Hari ini untuk pertama kalinya saya belanja lewat internet. Well, sebelomnya sih pernah juga buat pesen tiket pesawat dan booking hotel. Tapi kalo untuk beli barang ya baru kali ini nih.

Tau apa yang saya beli? Huehehehe... saya beli barang-barang SALE (modis = modal diskon banget euy!) di JohnMayerStore powered by musictoday.com. Saya beli 2 kaos dan 2 sticker yang kalo di total kurang lebih jadi 52 USD including shipping fee.

Sebenernya sih saya pingin nyoba pre-order continuum supaya dapet exclusive packaging yang terdiri dari Local 83 Fan Club Membership (fans club resminya JM yang mana saya belom join karena musti bayar :D) + Guitar Pic + Postcard + ID Card + T-shirt trus ada embel embel kata-kata **All items and special packaging designed by John himself! Makin bikin saya napsu aja buat beli. Tapi setelah pikir-pikir harganya kok ya jadinya mahal banget. Tapi saya pingin banget punya kaos tour-nya JM so penyelesaiannya adalah beli kaos tour-nya JM tapi yang lama punya dan ternyata di SALE (with capital S huehehehe). Udah mau kalap aja bawaanya tapi karena baru uji coba saya tahan diri dulu deh.

Metodenya tentu saja pake kartu kredit. Untuk itu saya sengaja pilih 1 kartu kredit saya yang paling baru dan belom pernah saya pakai karena emang waktu bikin saya emang ga mau pake tapi niatnya cuma mau bantu temen aja. Kebetulan Juga limit kartu kredit itu paling kecil jadi ya kalo sampe kena carding (amit amit!! sambil ketok meja tiga kali) saya ga akan rugi terlalu banyak. Sekarang saya lagi berharap-harap cemas apakah kartu kredit saya diterima atau ngga. Kalo ini sukses maka kartu kredit itu akan saya jadikan kartu kredit dengan spesialiasi belanja di internet.

I can't hardly wait untuk nerima paket itu tapi rasanya akan makan waktu lebih dari 2 minggu deh. Yang jelas itu akan jadi Collectible item banget. Bakal masuk ke flickr saya tentunya. Untuk sementara puas sama album continuum dulu yang bakal release tanggal 12 September 2006.

John Mayer (JM) ngeluarin album lagi!! Setelah album Blues-nya TRY bareng John Mayer Trio yang ga terlalu nyangkut di kuping saya akhirnya dia ngeluarin album baru lagi yang kayaknya ga terlalu berat alias pop yang sedikit nge-Blues. Masih ada sisi Blues-nya member dari John Mayer Trio juga terlibat dalam pembuatan album ini.

Sebenernya saya sudah lama ga buka official websitenya JM tapi karena ga sengaja lagi browsing i-ring baru saya nemu satu lagu JM yang saya ngga kenal judulnya. Langsung saya cari informasi dan voila! Saya baru ngeh kalo JM bakal ngeluarin album baru judulnya CONTINUUM. Well... single barunya yang judulnya WAITING ON THE WORLD TO CHANGE udah di release sih tapi seperti biasa MTV lebih seneng muter lagu-lagu ga penting. Ngeliat MVnya JM adalah hal langka. Duh, saya udah ga sabar lagi cari CDnya. Tapi di US aja Album ini belum release. Di websitenya sih JM nawarin pre-order yang bisa sekalian dapet special package gitu. Tapi kalo pesen dari sini ribet kali ye? Coba ada yang bisa dititipin.
