Being A Mom

Have plenty of things on my mind. Want to share stories but always got stuck in the process. To lazy to write a good to read sentences. Anyway, right now I'm so sleepy cause my baby girl woke-up in the middle of the nightr and decided to stay awake and playing before back to sleep. So, instead of figuring out how to keep my head from falling I decided to write something. Just random musing...

This lebaran season I decided not to hired an infall babysitter for Kalya. Instead me and xto will work hand in hand to take-care Kalya. Bathing and washing clothes are xto's departement. Mine is cooking, cleaning, Ironing and breastfeeding of course. Was it hard? Of course it was. I used to depend on babysitter, now everything should be done by ourselves. But slowly and sure we managed to make it. But still... I'm longing for new helper pleaseeeeee...

Cooking is not my thing. I have to admit that. Even I don't like my cooking he3x. But in order to give Kalya a healthy and nutritious food I have to cook them by myself. I think I overcooked the fruit and vegetable most of the time. Within this last month I improve my cooking skill and variation. Let's just hope Kalya eat more. A to the Men. Amen.

I need my me time. Desperately.

I'm lucky to have husband that willing to help with domestic stuff. Wuff wuff papa :D

Shopping is always a great theraphy but the only shopping I'm done is grocery shopping for Kalya's meal. Happy though to be able to give the best for my baby.

Dear Diary

Got carried away gara-gara membaca posting temen-temen WK di blog-nya masing-masing. Blog ini yang tadinya blog umum about itzi bitzi things that happen around my lilfe, lately becoming kinda prewedding diary. Ga papalah ya, secara preparing wedding is a part of everyday life.

So, hari ini akhirnya si bapak mengundang tetua dan keluarga xto buat bikin rapat panitia. Beberapa hal mulai beres satu persatu. Yang dulu stress dan ngeri kalo bakal berantakan (sampe kebawa mimpi) rasanya everything's gonna be ok.

Count My Blessings

when my wedding plan first occured, all my beloved close friends were super excited. They've been very supportive from day one. When i said supportive that means more than just in words but in actions.

From accompanying me to survey vendors to actually pay the bills. Yes! Pay the bills. They giving me an early wedding gifts. Anis decided to pay for my wedding souvenirs. Aira & Mebi offered to pay for prewed package but i nicely refused coz i don't see the use of it since we have so many pictures together and all i have to do is photoshoping the pictures and voila it's a cheap prewed pictures he3x. Instead, I asked Aira & Mebi to pay for my kebaya for holly matrimony. And they said yes. Oh so happy. And I was happier when my dearest bestfriend from uni decided to give huge donation for the wedding. The same amount I gave to her on her wedding gift about 4 years ago. Other than that my sister and xto's sister also gave us money in an huge amount to help us with the big bills. Since our wedding will be financed by me and xto ourselves, it really is a blessings to have such angels helping us.

I must've done something right to deserve wonderful friends and family like that. Love you all the fullest :D

TAKE A CHANCE ON ME

Yeah, today for the third time i watch MAMA MIA again. Setelah 2 kali nonton sama trio jazzy di Blitz dan Djakarta XXI hari ini Yence ngajak nonton lagi di EX. Padahal siangnya kita abis nonton Laskar Pelangi. Untuk Laskar Pelangi it's ok. Bagus tapi entah kenapa kurang meninggalkan kesan buat saya. Ada missing link antara antara masa SD mereka sampai si ikal pulang kampung sebelum dapet beasiswa ke Perancis. Mungkin saya harus baca bukunya.

Tentang Mama Mia what can i say? Kalo saya sampai nonton 3 kali pasti kan bagus dong ya? Overall film itu entertaining dan fun to watch. Bisa sing along kaya karaoke. Aside from that, garis besar dari film ini menurut saya adalah friendship and family's role in life. Hampir semua lagu kena banget buat saya tapi yang paling kena adalah Chiquitita waktu nonton untuk yang pertama kali. I was in my deepest despair dan tampaknya it shown. Dan di adegan itu saya berasa "gw banget" dan setelah nonton film itu saya udah bisa seneng lagi. Katanya saya dah ngga bengong dan linglung lagi. Anehnya, nonton yang kedua dan ketiga biarpun udah hilang efek surprise-nya tapi saya masih bisa sing along dan ngga bosen sama sekali. Aneh tapi Nyata.

Pertama kali tau film ini karena John Mayer nyanyiin lagu ost-nya. Lagunya bagus banget dan setelah kunjungan ke mr. google saya jadi makin pingin nonton film ini. Minggu lalu secara ngga sengaja saya nemu DVD-nya di tempat si koko dan baru sempet nonton hari ini (itu juga karena indovision entah kenapa masalah melulu beberapa hari ini dan saya terlalu malas untuk telp ke customer service lagi). A must see movie pokoknya *lagi ga mood buat cerita panjang-panjang*

HardRock t-shirt baru niy... Kemaren nitip sama Pooh yang tugas ke Dublin. Harganya termasuk yang mahal 24 Euro aja yang kalo di rupiAhin pake kurs kemaren jatohnya Rp 350ribuan. Tapi sebagai collector it was worth it kok.

Btw. hari ini berhasil DL double Albumnya John Mayer yang WHERE THE LIGHT IS buat icip-icip dulu. Modelnya sih Live seperti ANY GIVEN THURSDAY dan banyakan lagu lama yang akustik but it brought back the old memory kenapa saya suka musik2xnya JM. Jujur aja semenjak dia agak-agak FAMEW*H*R* saya jadi agak ilfil sama dia. Mana pake pacaran sama cwe-cwe ga penting gitu. Now my love will lead me back to you dech he3x.
